Autumn, Pollution, a bad nutrition are generally accompanied by acne spots, a blurred and dull complexion. However, treating acne problems naturally is possible thanks to numerous remedies. Natural acne masks, which can be easily made at home, can be very effective against pimples.
Apply the equivalent of a tablespoon of green clay paste all over your face, washed and dried beforehand. Pay particular attention to problem areas, particularly the T zone (forehead, nose, chin).
Then, leave the mask on for 20 to 30 minutes. Be careful, the clay must not dry out. Finally, remove the mask using a cotton pad or damp cloth, pat dry and moisturize your skin with a suitable moisturizing cream. Contrary to what you might think, it is not good to dry out your skin when you have acne. It's a Received idea moreover. This mask (1) should be done once a week. However, if your skin is sensitive, prefer pink clay which is softer.
A little advice, you can add other elements to your mask to strengthen its action against acne spots:
– 2 drops of Tea Tree essential oils, known for its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.
– 1 tablespoon of rose floral water, for an invigorating and refreshing action.
– The juice of a cucumber, in case of inflamed spots.
– ½ teaspoon of Burdock extract powder, in case of inflammatory acne but also black or whiteheads linked to excess sebum.
Green clay paste is sold ready to use in tubes or pots in pharmacies and organic stores. Furthermore, you can make it yourself.
Pour 4 to 5 tablespoons of superfine or ultra-ventilated green clay powder for the face into a salad bowl. Then add water gradually while stirring until you get a paste.
As per our advice, add water with caution. Because too much water at once and you will get a mud instead of a paste... Finally, let the paste rest for 4 hours so that the clay absorbs the water, and that's it! You can store the paste in an airtight plastic container.
Finally, its anti-oxidant properties tighten pores and help slow down the aging of the skin. On the other hand, for cider vinegar to be effective, it is essential that it be organic or artisanal, pure and unpasteurized.
Here is the recipe for a mask that sensitive, acne-prone skin will love:
– 1 tablespoon of cider vinegar
– 4 tablespoons of oat flour
– 1 tablespoon of water
In a bowl, pour a tablespoon of water with a tablespoon of cider vinegar, to which you add 4 tablespoons of oat flour. Then mix everything until you obtain a thick and homogeneous paste. Then apply the paste to your face, previously cleansed and dried. Finally leave it on until it dries on the skin, then rinse with plenty of water. This mask should be done once a week.
For its part, oatmeal has astringent properties that effectively absorb excess sebum on the face. It is also a natural exfoliant that unclogs pores and eliminates blackheads. Oatmeal will also allow the skin to get rid of all dead skin and regenerate quickly, giving way to a radiant complexion.
If you have localized acne spots, soak a cotton swab in apple cider vinegar diluted with a little water, apply directly to your spots and leave to act overnight. Apple cider vinegar will disinfect pimples and boost blood circulation.
It is recognized for its regenerative, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.
– A few drops of black seed oil
– An egg white
– Half a spoonful of lemon juice (preferably organic)
First, beat the egg white, add half a teaspoon of lemon juice. Blend until smooth. Then add a few drops of black seed oil and mix everything. Finally, apply the preparation to clean skin, leave for 20 minutes and rinse with plenty of water.
The egg will provide a nourishing action to the skin. Lemon, for its part, is antibacterial, astringent and anti-inflammatory which helps fight against the bacteria responsible for imperfections, regulate sebum and reduce the inflammation of spots. Lemon juice is also purifying and exfoliating, it helps eliminate blackheads (see list of comedogenic ingredients), blackheads and microcysts. Furthermore, lemon lightens the complexion, making it clearer and fresher.
It is known to eliminate blackheads, erase dead skin, accelerate the healing process, tighten pores, calm irritation, while restoring suppleness and radiance to the skin.
– A tomato (preferably organic)
– Lemon juice (preferably organic)
– 1 tablespoon of clay powder
Wash the tomato, then remove the skin. Then mix everything or mash it with a fork to obtain a puree. Then add the lemon juice and clay powder. Mix until you obtain a homogeneous paste. So, apply the paste to your face, washed and dried beforehand, and leave it on for 20 minutes. Finally, rinse with water and pat your face dry so as not to damage your skin.

For its part, cinnamon is known for its antibacterial properties. Used in a mask, it effectively attacks the bacteria responsible for pimples. Be careful though, cinnamon is a powerful spice and can cause allergies. So test this mask beforehand on the crook of your arm to see how your skin reacts.
The answer is: a honey-lemon mask because it will soothe your skin and hydrate it deeply. To prepare this mask, mix a tablespoon of raw honey, known for its hydrating and anti-inflammatory properties, with a few drops of fresh lemon juice, which can provide a mild exfoliating action. Gently apply the mixture to the affected areas, avoiding contact with the eyes. Leave on for 10 minutes before rinsing with lukewarm water. This mask can help hydrate and soothe the skin, but it is crucial to use caution as lemon can irritate some skin, especially if you have psoriasis.
– 3 tablespoons of honey
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
In a bowl, mix 3 tablespoons of honey and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder until you obtain a smooth paste. Then, apply it all over your cleansed face and leave for 10 to 15 minutes maximum. Finally, rinse your face with water.
